  • Food poisoning
    Summers are the perfect breeding time for bacteria and viruses. Consuming contaminated food is what leads to food poisoning, symptoms of which include vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach pain. It is best to eat freshly-prepared and thoroughly cooked food. Also, make sure that the cooking space is neat and clean.
  • Sunburn
    Prolonged exposure to the sun's harmful UV rays causes sunburn that is marked by dry, red and itchy skin, nausea, and chills. Over time, sunburns can pile on the risks of skin cancer. Make sure you apply adequate amounts of sunscreen (with an SPF count of over 30) before stepping outdoors.

  • Mangoes are a rich source of nutrients. It is enriched with fibre which aids in digestion along with Vitamin A and C.
  • Jaljeera a low calorie drink helps in keeping up the energy levels throughout the day. Its helps in maintaining hydration and aids in digestion.
  • Cucumber as it promotes hydration, lowers blood sugar levels, and has a high fiber content.
  • Onion juice is an effective remedy used to treat heat stroke. Onions are jam-packed with antioxidants that help in neutralizing the ill-effects of cellular damage caused by sunlight.
  • Coconut water for replenishing the electrolytes, minerals, and vitamins in the body.
  • Yoghurt (curd) acts as an excellent prebiotic and helps in keeping the gut healthy.
